Meet Draco! He is not only the inspiration behind my side hustle but the pickiest eater- EVER. Although this pug looks a little too well-fed, he is actually super particular about what he eats. I was tired of buying treats just to give them away because he refused to try them- let alone eat them.
BACKGROUND:
After experimenting with numerous recipes, I had Draco sample each one until I finally discovered the perfect one, which led to the birth of Draco's Dog Treats.
THE TREATS:
Draco's Dog Treats are high-quality treats made with natural ingredients, making them nutritious and tasty. I aim for these treats to appeal to even the most selective canine palates, ensuring that all dogs can enjoy a delicious treat.
This side hustle has allowed me to immerse myself in the Richmond community. For example, I had the opportunity to work with VCU's Shift Retail Lab—a space where other student entrepreneurs and I could test our ideas through sales and customer feedback. Through events like Feedback Fridays and markets, I gained valuable insights and the chance to make sales.
